What are Stocks?

Stocks are like buying a small share of a company. For example, if you buy Apple shares, it means you own a small part of the Apple company. When the company is running well and making profits, the value of its shares can rise. This means you can sell the shares at a higher price than when you bought them, thereby making a profit. However, if the company experiences difficulties, the value of its shares could fall, so you could lose money. So, shares are an investment that can provide big profits, but they can also be risky.
